So I finally crawled out of the bed after a day of being deathly ill with a virus on Sunday and decided I shouldn't miss a day of work because I'm afraid of getting too far behind.
Suddenly -- to my surprise -- I find beautiful bright green new foliage all along Interstate 4. Someone flipped a switch and spring is really here.
Of course it's still cold and windy, but lovely nevertheless. Most of my birding friends have seen swallow-tailed kites. I have not. Hopefully one day this week.
Pleased with my ocean migration package yesterday and received several nice notes from readers.
Still trying to finish up the power point for the speech to the Environmental Learning Center of Vero Beach on Wednesday.
