We landed safe and sound.  We're probably going to maintain social media silence so well post updates here for now.  This is our $56 a night hotel deal from Hotwire. Robes, snacks AND underbed strobe lights! Crazy!

Using up things in the fridge

Trying to use the leftovers before we left,  I wound up making something delicious. I put a half box of macaroni on to boil. Meanwhile I sautéed a Vidalia onion in olive oil with garlic. To that I added a bag of spinach and a little water, salt, basil and pepper Then I added 1 chopped tomato. I drained the macaroni, put it into a casserole dish,  then stirred the veggies into that. I layered sliced swish cheese and placed the dish in a 350 oven till cheese started getting melts. Yum!
