Cold

The same vein runs through every conversation. It's COLD! It's too freaking cold. It's Florida. Why do we have this Arctic Air? I know why sort of -- the Arctic Oscillation is in the phase that funnels cold air straight to Florida but still ... And no hope for true warmth anytime soon. See a graph of the phase here.
The good news is the seasonal outlook from NOAA shows the below normal temperatures going away for Florida in June! But sticking around through May.

The dip was a hit at the wedding shower this afternoon. Served it with Triscuits and Triscuit thins. Steve said it's not spicy enough. One of the women brought the cookie that is simply phenomenal and hands down one of my favorites -- Ritz crackers sandwiched together with peanut butter and dipped in chocolate. Oh my goodness. I could eat 10!
We gave the bride handwritten recipes. I gave her the family's classic Broccoli, cheese, Ritz cracker recipe.
So I'm still working to figure out how to make the most use of Twitter. Great story in the New York Times about it today.
May go birding with a friend on Sunday afternoon. Just can't wait. Really need the break. Rough day today. Weirdness at work. Then shower. Then School Advisory Council at Deltona High School.
