Kayak

Took the kayak into the St. Johns River for a short time tonight to watch the sun set. Hoped to paddle around the north shore of Lake Monroe for a bit but waves were too rough for kayaking alone.

Will try a tamer paddle somewhere tomorrow afternoon.

House cleaning continues. And ticking off a list of odds and ends tasks.

Our niece Skye got married this morning. Third low key wedding in this family in a row. I'm ready for a big event. Haven't helped with a wedding or given a shower in a couple of years.

Surprised Lindsay Lohan was actually sentenced to 90 days in jail, then time in rehab. Maybe it will help her straighten herself out but I'm not convinced jail time ever improves anyone. In fact it appears quite the opposite is true.

Lunch with a friend today. Totally fun. Plus I also connected with two very dear old friends, who both contacted me on the same day! Deborah Klaisle and Cindy McCloskey. Completely awesome.
