So I haven't written in a month. Think I'll try to start back and keep it up.
Everyone knows I'm a hurricane junkie but I'll be just fine if Hanna passes us by. If we get any more rain I'm afraid life as we know it in DeBary is going to dissolve. It's already too crazy here.
So far the models seem to indicate it will likely head north to Savannah or Charleston. Not that I'd wish any harm on those beautiful old cities! Maybe it will just fall apart.
We took a ride today and went to our son's ward for the church, then rode over to Lakeland. I had to get away from the storm stuff, including the computer.
When we came home I went a little nuts in the kitchen. We had country fried steak, mashed potatoes, sour cream gravy, fried okra, black eyed peas and sauteed portabello mushrooms. Back on the diet tomorrow.
